1500 Boat Compound is designed to remove medium to heavy oxidation, scratches and 1500 sandpaper marks from gel coat. Pristine Marine's 1500 Boat Compound is the best boat compound available. This is the same gel coat compound used by the professionals and now is available to the public. For extreme gloss results follow with Pristine Marine Final Polish.
How to use 1500 Boat Compound:
- Wash boat with a strong detergent, such as Dawn dish soap. No need to waste your Pristine Marine Boat Soap. Only use your Pristine Marine Boat Soap for maintenance washes only. Strong dish soap will help remove sealants, waxes and grease film from the surface of your vessel. For really grimy areas spray with Pristine Marine All Purpose Cleaner, scrub and rinse well. No need to fully dry, but you do want to dry up puddles of water. 1500 Boat Compound is water based, so small amounts of water is not a problem.
